Hi I am trying to capture text in a text field on one page, store that value in a variable, then display the text stored in the variable in a text panel on another page.

I am unable to do this for a text panel as axure does not make variable values available for text panels....

does anyone know a work around for this? or am i missing something...

I do not want to display the value in another text field, it needs to just look like text (it's dynamic text really)

In the OnPageLoad of the second page, you can use the action to Set Variable and Widget value equal to Value. Select "text on widget" in the dialog and choose the text panel. Then, click "Edit text..." to specify the value. In that dialog, there is a button in the toolbar "Insert Variable" that you can use to insert variable values. You can also type [[variablename]] to insert a variable in the text.
