    Web hosting a shared project?

Anyone know if there's a way to buy web hosting for a shared Axure project?  We don't all work in the same office space, so we don't really have a network drive we can all access.  I'll happily pay for something that's easy to get going.

    Thanks!

    Hi Andrew,

Shared projects don't work through a web service right now, but we are looking into that for the next update to the feature. If you can setup a VPN to a shared drive, that is one way to do this today. Another would be to setup a remote desktop to a computer that does have access to the network drive.

Re: Web hosting a shared project?

My team is distributed across North America. We have been using Axure individually, but now are ready to have a larger shared project.

Our file server is far from any team member. We started to use the SftpDrive application to mount our server on our desktops. While file copying using Windows was quick, project sharing using Axure was painfully slow even when only one of us had the server mounted. Is there any way of speeding up Axure file sharing in this situation? If there are technologies or metrics to pay attention to, I'd appreciate knowing what they are.

Some of us are using Macs, and it would be great to have a native version of Axure. But speeding up distributed sharing would be even better.

    TIA for any information.

The next update is going to include the ability to store shared projects on an svn server for distributed sharing. If you'd like to have an early look, there is a release candidate available here http://axure.com/cs/forums/thread/3386.aspx
