    Image Map Region Bug?

    Hi there,

I'm not sure if anyone can recreate this, but I'm running into a problem whenever I use an Image Map Region in Axure.

Whenever I use it with an OnClick event to simulate a 'Back to Top' link on top of text, the location of the image map changes from file to generated prototype.  I have it directly on the text in Axure, but the prototype places it about 50-100 pixels above the target area.

This occurs particularly when I have a lot of text on the page, or when the page measures longer than 1100 pixels in length.

    Can anyone recreate this?

Is it possible for you to send a sample .rp file to support@axure.com? If you want to send just one page, you can create a new file and use File->Import from RP File to import just the page.

    Hi Victor,

Sorry for the delay.  I've sent the file over to that e-mail address for your review.

FYI, I'm viewing it in the latest version of Firefox.

    Re: Image Map Region Bug?

Hi, the issue is that the spacing between the paragraphs of text in the text panel is slightly different from the spacing when viewed in the browser. If you separate the paragraphs into separate text panels (or use separate text panels for the Back to Top links), the image map regions will line up properly. We'll take a look at this to see we can get the html spacing closer to the wireframe.
