Hello. Once you have the SVN server running, you can create a folder on the server using SVN to store your Axure RP Shared Projects. Then using Axure RP you can create projects in that folder using File->New Shared Project or Share->Create Shared Project from Current File.
If you'd like to try shared projects before setting up the server, you can also store shared projects on a network drive without an SVN server. The advantage of using the SVN server is better performance and the ability to connect to it remotely. Using VPN to connect to a network drive for shared projects can be very slow.
Once the project is created, it works pretty much the same whether it's on a server or network drive (http://www.axure.com/p401_1.aspx).
If you don't need the individual page check in's and out's of shared projects, .rp files can be stored in any source control system.
We don't have a more thorough guide for setting up and managing an SVN server. Does anyone know of a good resource for this outside of this book: http://svnbook.red-bean.com/?
