This has happened a couple of times now where I am putting a dynamic panel on top of some controls (text inputs, drop down, labels, etc.)

I've set the order so that the dynamic panel is on top of everything. The dynamic panel also has a white background so you can't see what's behind it.

When I generate the prototype, everything behind the panel is hidden, except for the drop-down list. It appears on top of the dynamic panel, even though I've changed the order to put that control to the back and bring the dynamic panel to the front.

Is this a bug or am I missing something? Seems to only happen for drop down controls.

Droplist lists and list boxes will always show through in IE6. This should work properly in Firefox and IE7 I believe.

A workaround for IE6 is to put the droplist into a dynamic panel and hide that panel when the one above it is shown.

Your website says it's compatible only with IE6. If I install IE7 will my prototype still work properly?

Nobody should be using IE6 anymore, arggggh. It is such an evil thing to have to accommodate.
