the problem is that when I mouse out, that behavior dominates even if I have clicked it.  So when I mouse in, it shows,  when I mouse out, it hides, when I click it shows...until I mouse out....then it hides again.  What I expect is that on click will stay until I mouse in again...then mouse out will take over.
