  • Spec Generation work-arounds and wishes

I have been using Axure for about 3 months now, and the company I work for is in the process of authorizing the purchase of licenses for as many of the 12 business analysts in our group that want it (4 are trying it right now). As the initial "experimenter" with Axure, I have become the "onsite expert." I am writing to share ...

  • Specification generation issue with panels

I actually believe this is a bug and not a (missing) feature: When you generate a Word specification on a page that includes panels, the screen shot is shown with all panels visible on top of each other. This makes no sense. Axure knows which panels are visible on page load so as a minimum, only visible panels should be shown. Naturally, the ...

  • Formatting of frameset

I am trying to format the no-so-nice looking Axure default frameset. I cannot figure out where I change the a:visited CSS that makes the light greyish background on elements/pages that have been visited. That backgound does not look good if you have changed the colour for the columns. I'd also like to manipulate the lowest frame border.

  • Hide pages for generation

It is not possible to hide certain pages from being generated, is it? It would be helpful if you could do this if you have an Axure file with several prototypes and you only want to show one (to a customer or whatever).

  • Re: Annotation Views - published to Word Spec

Hi Victor, I have a relative question for annotation views also. Is there any way to generate the Spec by different custom view? Such as: I have 3 kinds of custome view for spec, and I want to generate them to 3 different tables in the document.  Or is there any other way to generate fields to different table by custom ...

  • generated prototype performance

My prototype of a portal site has about 15 pages, most with dynamic panels with about 5 states and each panel several large widgets, mostly tables or text areas. The generated prototype is VERY slow to load or switch pages, though state switches within a page are quite snappy. The prototype directory has 4905 files of which 3907 are png ...

  • Specification Doc - Change the order of sections

Does anybody know if it is possible to specify the order of the sections in the Specifications document? For example I would like the content specifications for the whole screen to appear immediately after the screenshot of the whole screen.  Then have the content specifications for a multi-state panel appear immediately after the ...

  • Is there any possibility to generate a text manuscripte?

I'm looking the possibiity to generate the content of all text fields into the specification but i don't find one. For further development puposes it is very inconvinient to cut and paste all text fields into a document or to force the developer to cut and paste them into the web application.

  • Generation question

Hi, I'm new to Axure and still trying to get everything together. I previously worked with Visio to design interfaces, so a lot of what I see in Axure makes sense. My question is: is there a way to prevent the generated prototype from opening in a new window every time instead of opening in the same window. Sometimes I make small changes ...
