Would like to import custom annotations from a shared project. Read that is it possible, but it looks like it is only from a local project vs a shared project. Please let me know if there is a way to import custom annotations from a shared project. Goal would be to have all shared projects have the same custom ...

I'm currently evaluating Axure for my company, and it seems to be a promising product for our IA work. I am pleased to see that the development team seems to be very active on these forums, so I thought I would post a couple issues that I have found. I am still a fairly new user, so if I am missing a setting or feature that will ...

We have one "Master" template we have set up as a Shared Project. We have other client specific .rp files that are NOT shared projects. We want to import from the Master to the Client projects.
It looks as though you can only import to a .rp from a .rp. Is there a trick around this?

Hi:
I'm trying to import pages from one v5 RP file to another and the page notes (including custom note fields) are not being imported with the pages. They don't get imported with the annotations fields either.
Can anyone else reproduce and/or shed some light on this?
I'm running v. 5.0.0.1509
Thanks

Hi,
When importing masters, is there a way to include any variables used by the master?
I've made a generic navigation master but I cannot import it to projects without having to define the variable it uses in each project, making the navigation master less time-saving.

You can :) Try File->Import. You can import page, masters, annotation fields, generator configurations, and styles from one file to another.

We are considering ways to manage a repository of masters, but in the meantime...
1) You could maintain .rp files that contain the libraries of masters
2) Those files can be shared by storing them on a shared drive or emailing the files around
3) File->Import can be used to import masters from those "library" files
We understand ...

Check out the File->Import feature. You can import masters from one project file to another. If you "re-import" them you will have the option to update the masters you previously imported so you can keep them in sync.
