OnPageLoad is being enabled on Masters in the next release and will be able to respond conditionally to variables (more of which will also be available). Currently to do this, you would have to affect the dynamic panels in the master in the OnPageLoad of each page.

wcourtney:Not sure if this has been mentioned, but it would be helpful to be able to import masters from another file. You can :) Try File->Import. You can import page, masters, annotation fields, generator configurations, and styles from one file to another.
