Discussions feature req - comment count, summaries, and on-page comments

The discuss / comments feature is potentially powerful but right now not terribly usable. Here are a couple of requests.

1. Show the comment count for each page.
If each link in the left menu of the generated prototype had a comment-count, I'd quickly be able to scan down and see where people have left comments.

2. Create summaries for prototype owners of discussion activity.
Perhaps a daily/weekly email, or a dashboard, detailing who left comments, on which pages. Saves me having to open the link daily to see who said what where.
Notableapp does this very well.

3. Onpage scribbling & commenting feature
I'd love for clients to be able to leave comments on the page, not just to the side.
See conceptboard, noteableapp, markup.io etc for examples.

4. Compatibility with existing onpage commenting
I haven't tested this recently, but previously I couldn't get my prototype to work well with 3rd party social commenting services like notableapp or markup.io. Probably because of the frameset.

I'd like to second especially the first two points - right now it's very cumbersome to go through comments on a per-page basis and see if there are new comments.

Also, it would be great if there was a link to the commented prototype page from the "View Discussion" page that is visible for project owners.

I totally agree to all the requests above. With point no. 1, it will also be good to get a printable/exportable list of comments. Also ability to turn on notification on comments would be really handy. Otherwise this feature is really good and helps us keep all feedback in one place

I definitely agree with all of the above, especially the ability to print/export all of the comments. It could change our company's whole process for how we document our functionality which would be amazing!

Decent On-page commenting is a must-have. Clients need to be able to attach a comment to a specific part of the design like they can do with PDFs & sticky notes.

Do you have a timeline on when this will appear? It's a deal breaker for me.
