If you’ve ever perused our extensive collection of community-made Axure RP widget libraries, you may have thought to yourself: “I wish I could do that. I wonder what kind of fancy tool they’re using to make those things.” Well, guess what: every Axure RP widget library ever made was made in Axure RP itself, and using the same authoring techniques you’d use to create a “regular” Axure project. Here’s a quick gif showing how it’s done:

If you have a set of patterns you find yourself using again and again while working in Axure RP, try putting them into a library using the steps shown in this animation. It only takes a few seconds, and it could save you quite a bit of time over the life of a project.
