Many of our customers have asked for a way to view Axure RP prototypes on mobile devices without an Internet connection. Today, we’re releasing the AxShare App for iOS and Android so you can do offline demos and usability testing on your devices.
With the new AxShare App, you can view interactive prototypes on smartphones and tablets — either in the app itself or by launching your mobile browser. If you are demoing an app, there is also an option to hide the device status bar. To make sure spotty cellular connectivity doesn’t interfere with your presentation, you can download prototypes to your device beforehand for faster loading and offline demos.
To use the app, you’ll need devices operating either iOS 8 or Android 4.4 or higher. You’ll also need an account on AxShare, a free, cloud-hosted platform where you can securely upload and share your prototypes.
The app is free in the iTunes App Store and in Google Play.
This is just the beginning. If you have features you’d like to see in the app, we’d love to hear from you. Just send us a note to email@example.com.
