Use Axure RP to make flowcharts, business process models, and other flow diagrams. Add shape, image, and snapshot widgets to serve as flow elements, and then use the "connector" tool to draw smart lines between them.
All shape (including custom shape), image, and snapshot widgets can be used in flow diagramming.
The Flow library, which comes with Axure RP, includes widgets pre-made for flow diagramming (process, decision, database, etc.). Other flow-dedicated widget libraries, built by members of the Axure user community and available for free and for purchase, can be found on our "Download Widget Libraries" page.
Snapshot widgets make good flow diagram elements when you want thumbnail images of your target pages as opposed to abstract shapes.
AUTO-GENERATING FLOW DIAGRAMS
You can build your flow diagrams just as you would build any other type of diagram in RP—by opening a page on the canvas and dragging widgets onto it—but you can also get a head start by generating an automatic flow based on the Pages pane.
First, open the page that will include the flow diagram (e.g. a new, blank page). Then, in the Pages pane, right-click any page and click "Generate Flow Diagram". (It's best if the page you choose from the Pages pane has some child pages; that way RP can generate a flow chart for you instead of just a single flow shape.) In the dialog that appears, you can choose whether the flow diagram's layout will be standard or right hanging. Make your selection and then click OK to generate the flow diagram.
Once you've auto-generated a flow diagram this way, you can customize it by moving widgets around or changing their shapes. Auto-generated flow shapes will already have reference pages.

MOVING, ADDING, AND DELETING CONNECTOR POINTS (SHAPE WIDGETS)
Select a widget and then switch to the "connector point" tool by clicking "Connect Pt" under "More" in the Main Toolbar. The connector points of that widget will be indicated by circles. Click any of the circles and drag to move that connector point. You can place the connector on the widget's border or in its interior (useful for non-rectangular shapes).
To add a new connector, switch to the “connector point” tool and click anywhere on the widget that does not currently have a connector point.
To delete a connector point, right-click the point and click "Delete" or select the point and press the [DEL] key.
Line items in the Pages pane (aside from folders) can feature either of two icons: "Page" or "Flow". All pages start with the "Page" icon, but you can give your flow-dedicated pages the other icon by right-clicking a page in the Pages pane and choosing "Diagram Type > Flow".

REFERENCE PAGES (SHAPE WIDGETS)
If a widget has a reference page, it means the text on the widget is the page's name, the widget’s text is updated when the page is renamed, and clicking the widget in the HTML output links to the referenced page.
To assign a reference page to any shape widget, select the widget and open the Inspector's Properties tab. Then click the "Reference Page" control to open the page selector and assign a page.
Use connectors to link widgets in a flow diagram. Learn how to use and edit connectors in this article.
